  • Business data such as invoices, payments, inventory, and HR details

  • Biometric and visual recognition data (e.g., attendance, CCTV analysis)

Our Role as Data Processor

When you use TechDotBit’s services to process personal or confidential data, you act as the Data Controller and TechDotBit is the Data Processor. We process your data strictly:

  • Under your documented instructions

  • According to our contractual obligations

  • In accordance with data protection laws like GDPR, HIPAA (if applicable), and Indian IT Act

How We Use Service Data

We do not use Service Data for advertising, profiling, marketing, or analytics unless explicitly authorized by you. We use it solely to:

  • Deliver and maintain services

  • Prevent service abuse and technical issues

  • Provide customer support

  • Perform system backups and disaster recovery

  • Enhance performance via internal analytics (in anonymized form only)

Access Controls and Security

We access Service Data only:

  • When required for support

  • When authorized by your administrators

  • When legally obligated (with notice unless prohibited)

All access is logged, audited, and restricted to trained staff under confidentiality agreements. We apply strict encryption, firewall, and role-based access policies.

Sharing and Subprocessing

We share Service Data only with:

Each subprocessor is contractually bound to:

  • We retain Service Data during the term of your agreement

  • After termination, your Service Data is retained for 6 months

  • Secure deletion or anonymization follows, with backups purged within 3 months

  • You may request early deletion via email

International Data Transfers

If you or your users reside outside India and your data is transferred to Indian or other servers, we:

  • Use Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or equivalent legal safeguards

  • Conduct risk assessments and adopt adequate technical and organizational safeguards

As a processor, we will:

  • Promptly inform you of data subject requests received from your end-users

Children’s Personal Information

TechDotBit’s products and services are not intended for use by individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from children under 16 for our own purposes. If we learn that we have inadvertently collected such information, we will take prompt steps to delete it.

If you are a customer collecting data from individuals under 16 through our services, you acknowledge and agree that you are solely responsible for complying with applicable laws regarding children’s privacy, including obtaining verifiable parental consent where required. Use of Automation and AI
